Decades of decorative-concrete questions, distilled. If yours isn't here, send a quick message — we'll get back the same business day.
General Questions
Three signature systems: decorative flake floors, metallic epoxy floors, and polished concrete. Every system is suitable for residential or commercial spaces — the right choice depends on traffic, lighting, aesthetic preferences, and budget. We walk you through the trade-offs at the free estimate.
Yes — fully licensed and insured for both residential and commercial work, with general liability and workers' comp coverage. Certificates of insurance are available on request, and our license number is on every quote and contract.
Yes. We split roughly evenly between residential garages, basements, and patios and commercial spaces like retail, restaurants, offices, and warehouses. Same crews, same prep standards, different scheduling needs.
Pricing & Quotes
Pricing depends on square footage, surface prep needs, system tier (flake vs metallic vs polished), and topcoat selection. We don't quote per-foot averages because every floor is different — a free on-site estimate gets you a real number for your actual space.
Yes, with no obligation. We walk the space, check the slab condition, talk through your needs, and bring physical sample boards so you see actual finishes. We follow up with a written quote, and you decide from there.
Yes — financing is available on qualifying residential and commercial projects. We can walk through terms during your estimate, and full terms are always provided in writing before any agreement.
Installation Process
Most flake residential floors are completed in a single day. Metallic floors run 2–3 days because of layered cure times. Polished concrete runs 2–4 days. Commercial projects are scheduled around your operating hours and can be completed nights or weekends.
Yes — we need full slab access to grind, prime, and apply the system. For residential, that usually means moving cars, tools, or stored items. For commercial, we coordinate move-out and move-back timing with your operations team.
Diamond grinding produces dust, but we use HEPA-vacuum-equipped grinders that capture the vast majority of it. The epoxy and polyaspartic topcoats are low-odor and low-VOC — most homeowners can be back in the space within 24 hours, often less.
Sometimes — depends on the condition of the existing coating. We can often grind through old failed epoxies and install over the prepared slab. We'll confirm at the on-site estimate.
Maintenance & Care
Day-to-day: sweep or dust-mop, and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive scrubs and harsh acidic cleaners. We send you a printed care guide at the final walk-through, with the specific cleaner recommendation for your system.
Depends on the topcoat tier. Standard polyaspartic is UV-stable and won't yellow indoors. For outdoor or heavy-sun exposure (patios, sunrooms, lanais), we upgrade to a UV-stable premium topcoat that holds clarity for years.
Yes — most coating systems can be re-topcoated after years of wear without redoing the full system. Polished concrete can be re-polished. We come back for warranty work and offer recurring-maintenance plans for commercial accounts.
Warranty & Aftercare
Every install is backed by a written warranty covering materials and labor — the length depends on the system you choose. We never install something we wouldn't stand behind, and the warranty terms are reviewed with you before any contract is signed.
Call or message us. For warranty-covered issues we schedule a site visit, assess, and repair. We're a local crew — if it's a real problem, we come back. That's the deal, in writing, on every project.
Yes — for commercial accounts we offer scheduled maintenance plans: re-topcoats, polished concrete re-polishing, joint repair, and minor crack fills. Most commercial floors only need light maintenance every 3–7 years.
